When drying your skin, do NOT rub the skin dry, rather, pat it dry. Make sure to avoid the nose, eyes, mouth, and other sensitive skin areas. If you do get the gel in any of these areas, you should continuously rinse the area with a lot of cool water. As I mentioned above, make sure that you follow the directions that you received from your doctor as many things will be used to decipher the correct dosage for you. These things can include other medications that you are currently taking, medical illnesses, and your body weight. Keep in mind that any gel that you have left in the tube after 120 days should be thrown out and a new tube should be gotten from your pharmacy. When getting rid of the unused portion of your tube, make sure that you do NOT get rid of it down your sink drain, toilet, or trash can. If you have had an allergic reaction the lincomycin, clindamycin, or benzoil peroxide or have a health history that includes colitis from usage of antibiotics or Crohns Disease, do NOT use Clindamycin Gel. There are other medications that can negatively interact with this topical gel. Make sure that your physician is aware of all medications that you are currently taking or about to begin taking. Many neuromuscular blocking agents and Tretinoin can have a negative impact upon the usage of your Clindamycin Gel. 1)    Stop taking the medications that negatively impact the gel.

2)    Ask your physician if there is another prescription that would help you that is not one that interacts with the gel.
